About the company
Our client provides energy consultancy services, specialising in procurement of electricity and gas and the provision of energy management solutions for the Industrial and Commercial Business sector.
The business was formed after a series of conversations with Industrial and Commercial customers during work being undertaken by our sister company, where it became clear that our customers were becoming dissatisfied with the value their existing energy broker was offering them and they were uncertain about the costs being charged.
The client offers independent, impartial advice, without affiliation to any energy supplier. Our independence means that we work only for you, giving you the confidence that the prices you receive are always the most competitive in the market at that time and we aim to offer simplicity and transparency in an over complicated energy supply industry.
Their aim is to build long-term relationships with our clients and become a trusted energy partner by providing an open and honest, end to end service and being involved with our clients in all utility related issues and decisions from inception to completion.
About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced commercial business development manager to drive new business across the North West. Focusing on B2B Solar PV sales, the right person will be Someone who has the capability to self-generate their own leads, manage their own diary and work autonomously whilst being supported by senior business leaders.
Skills & Experience
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in B2B sales
- A good understanding of the renewable energy sector, specifically Solar PV
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, ready to leap straight in and will be an effective team player.
- Proven experience of relationship building alongside delivering engagement plans to drive demonstrable retention and growth.
- Fantastic communicator with the ability to seamlessly connect people, face to face and on the phone and in written communication.
- The ability to work confidently, highly organised and solution focused.
- High standard of interpersonal skills, professional confidence, and tenacity
- Self-motivated and target-oriented approach with the desire to achieve KPI’s and financial rewards.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Someone who has the capability to self-generate their own leads, manage their own diary and work autonomously whilst being supported by senior business leaders
Benefits
- Salary from £40,000 – £60,000 DOE
- Car allowance upto £5000 pa
